One Kilo coin Silver Bar self made. This is a stock photo just to show size. A note about how this is made, I have a French furnace, which reaches over 2,000 degrees. The first time I tried to pour a slab it came out an ugly mess and I learned about'Spree' which is what happens to silver when you pour it into a cold mold. After that, I decided to leave the silver in the crucible and let it cool naturally, which takes about 6 hours. This bar is over 1,000 grams, it started out heavier by about 6 to 12 grams. I originally thought the loss of weight was due to the grime and dirt on the coins i was melting, but that turned out to not be true! This bar was tested on a Spectrometer which tells its true make-up and surprise, it's between 91 and 94 percent pure silver!

So that explains why the top of the furnace turned red. Some 10 to 40 percent of the copper in the coins must have burned off! The bar is stamped 1,004 GRAMS COIN SILVER And is priced as such. I will be adjusting the price weekly until it sells.
