Limited mintage of only 100 pieces. This Somalia Elephant 2022 - Giant Moon issue from the popular African Wildlife series was minted from one kilo of 99.99% pure silver in mint luster quality.

The African Wildlife series from Somalia is issued with an annually changing elephant motif and is highly sought after by collectors and investors worldwide. This coin shows the new 2022 elephant design in full color.

The motif shows a mother elephant with her baby wandering through the African steppe at night. Particularly striking is the large full moon, which also gives this issue its name and brightly illuminates the nocturnal landscape. Along the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT" as well as the weight "1 kg" and the fineness "Ag 999.9".

Each coin is individually numbered, this is number 90 which can be seen on the obverse low center. The reverse shows the Somali national coat of arms, which depicts a shield with an inner star supported by two leopards.

Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two palm leaves, each in crossed form. On the outer edge are the details of the country of origin. Pictures are of actual coin.
