This specially designed 2019 Vault Protector style medal struck from 1 kilo of. 999 fine silver celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the China Mint's Unicorn series.
Produced with a central square hole similar to ancient Chinese cash coins, mintage of the 100 mm diameter proof medal is limited to just 188 pieces. Enchanting Unicorn Imagery by Designer Song Fei.
Featured on the reverse are two unicorns: a single-horned Western style creature and the dragon-like Eastern style unicorn known as a Kirin. The unicorns are positioned around the square hole, with auspicious clouds in the background. The Great Wall of China gracefully curves around the square hole on the obverse, with 1 Kg Ag. 999" inscribed above, "2019 located in the foliage at left. First Day of Issue GEM Proof, includes Hand Signed Label.
