The coins reverse features a struck design of the St Edwards Crown, edged by 60 diamond motifs representing each year of Her Majestys reign. The inscription DIAMOND JUBILEE and the dates 1952 2012 are also incorporated into the design. Issued as Australian legal tender, the coins obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date and the monetary denomination. No more than 600 coins will be issued by The Perth Mint.
